Our Team
Robert Anderson, Partner
Robert was born in Huntington Beach, California, and he has spent the majority of his life living in Florida. Robert attended Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. While at Rollins College, Robert participated in a study abroad program in Vietnam—which turned out to be a truly life altering experience. After finishing college he returned to Vietnam and backpacked throughout the country.
Following his travels abroad, he enrolled at the University of Miami School of Law, where he obtained my Juris Doctor with honors in 2003. I received my Florida Bar License later that year, and began practicing law soon after. Robert returned to UM Law and earned an LLM in Real Estate Development in 2006.
James A. Cueva, PL Partner
Originally from Western New York, James grew up in Miami, FL where he attended local public schools, graduating from High School in 1994. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in political science from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida in 1998. After working in the legal field for two years, James enrolled in the University of Miami School of Law earning his juris doctor cum laude in May 2003. James was admitted to practice in September 2003 and has practiced mainly in South Florida his entire legal career. He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Florida.
James has concentrated his practice in civil litigation matters after initially gaining experience as in-house counsel for a leading Spanish language radio and television broadcasting company. As an experienced litigator, James has drafted pleadings, motions and written discovery, conducted and defended depositions, attended mediation, picked a jury and tried cases to a jury verdict. More recently, James has expanded his practice to include real estate closings and title insurance. James is also a licensed real estate sales associate working with Global Group Realty, LLC in Coral Gables, FL.
James is an avid fan of college football, a loyal member of the Bills Mafia, and proud to be part of the #GatorNation. In his spare time, he enjoys watching college football, fishing, boating in Biscayne Bay and spending quality time with family and friends.
